Luka G

Luka works closely with every piece in the company's collection. Luka has an extensive background in couture design that he brings from his premier training and education, vast experience in the fashion industry, and various photography projects and international travel.

Growing up in the thriving and always fashion-conscious capital of Croatia, Luka embarked on an ambitious plan to launch his unique fashion vision in America.  After arriving in the states, he entered the NY Parsons School of Design where he graduated with a double major in merchandising and design and continued to refine and hone his fashion vision.

Post-graduation, Luka worked alongside top designers in New York including Oscar de La Renta, Dennis Basso, and Nicolas Petrou.  He helped Mr. de La Renta and his team to create designs for the company's Ready-To-Wear and for various fashion shows, including the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 Fashion Weeks.  Luka also worked for Nicolas Petrou and contributed to the acclaimed debut collection for the Madison Avenue store launch in 2007.

In addition to his work for these esteemed fashion houses, Luka has worked with private clients including the Croatian Olympic figure-skater Idora Hegel.   Ms. Hegel wore a Luka signature dress during her short program at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy and wore the dress at the 2006 European and World Championships.

Luka Grubisic currently designs in his Zagreb couture studio in Teslina 14 (center of the city - walking zone) where he creates unique Couture pieces.
